ReplyDeleteMy Friends - you will often hear the argument that extraterrestrials are hostile and that this is why we need to RETAIN our nuclear weapons. But this is really a fallacious/nonsensical argument. If aliens were hostile then our retention of nuclear weapons would enable them to completely destroy mankind with just two shots. All they would need do is explode two nuclear weapons above both Washington and Moscow. This would initiate a full blown nuclear exchange between the US and Russia (with everybody else: the UK, France, China, North Korea, Israel, India and Pakistan joining in). This really would be the end for mankind as the result would be a toxic Earth and a complete collapse of the global ecosphere.
This is why you need to sign the Universal Peace Petition.
My Friends, the time to act is now. The latest bulletin from the Atomic Scientists tells us that the Doomsday Clock now reads: 3 minutes to midnight. In other words, mankind is now closer to nuclear Armageddon than ever before.
Do not expect anything from your governments. This is up to us.
